Petting Zoo: Woman runs nonprofit to give monkeys and apes a second chance at life

Deborah Misotti founded the Talkin' Monkeys Project decades ago in Florida based off of her childhood dreams.

After spending years volunteering at other sanctuaries, she finally got to create her own. The monkeys and apes she houses are rescues, usually being illegal or surrendered pets.

Her work is saving monkeys and apes across the country and giving them another chance at a comfortable life.
