Your Answers: Student Shoutouts!

On our last episode, we met some pretty cool students from across the country and wanted to learn about impressive students in our state!

We had you send in "student shoutouts" for students who are doing great things at your school!

Students used our inbox form online or sent us an email to newsdepth@ideastream.org to share their answers.

Dear NewsDepth,
I think that the most impressive group of students at my school is a group called Running Club. I think they are the most impressive because they are running through woods, town, and sometimes are running through the halls after school and up the stairs! And that's why I think that Running Club is the most impressive group of students in my school.

Dear NewsDepth,
The most impressive group of people at my school is the JV basketball team, they have never lost one game this year.

Dear NewsDepth,
Something that my school does is a news channel every other Friday! Me and my teammates learn to work as a team, and read scripts! We are an inspiration for the younger students who want to be apart of teams. We use a YouTube channel called 'PRE Knightly News.' And we also have our PTA! That host school dances and events for our students!

Dear NewsDepth,
A great group at my school is girls on the run. It is where you run laps as many as you can and you get hair ties every lap you do. When you are in girls on the run you are training for a 5k run. It is really fun and you make a lot of friends.

Dear NewsDepth,
Art Club, they paint motivating murals around our school. As well as making cool projects, with clay, cups, and more. They also make extra parts for this thing called Steam Night if I'm remembering correctly! And lastly, before doing these cool projects, they get a few days to make crafts, paint on canvas (once we did discs and pinecones), and mostly something art related (like pencil/paint art, not music). It's really fun! I can assure you if you like the type of stuff Art Club provides!
