China is pivoting their energy sources to its renewable energy sector.
Renewable energy is energy coming from natural resources that can be replenished at a faster rate.
For our write-to-us last week, we wanted you to put on your scientist hats and research renewable energy and then determine what green energy source you think would work best for your community!

Dear NewsDepth,
I think that windmills would work, because the past few days, it has been cold, and really windy!! If there was a green energy source for the cold, I would use that.

Dear NewsDepth,
I think that we should have a special generator that when power outage stops from a storm that it can turn the whole town on so we can have power.

Dear NewsDepth,
I think hydropower (a renewable energy source that generates electricity using the natural flow of moving water) because it is a low-cost, and very efficient power source it is also a good flood control. It uses reservoirs which we so happen to have. That's why I think hydropower is a good green energy source for my community!

Dear NewsDepth,
There would be a lot good green energy's that would be good for my town but personally I think that solar panels would be the best I think this because there are lots of empty fields and spaces in my town and we can use those spaces for them so my town can have more green energy. Another thing that we can do with the solar panels has put them on a bunch of people's roofs so people with electricity that is not very good can have more green energy to power their house.

Dear NewsDepth,
The best green source for my community is differently solar panel. The reason why is it is very sunny, and the sun never lets me down when I want to sweat. We live in a rule area so we could produce so much energy. So, I would say solar panels are a great fit for my community.
