Silent Film Festival Offers Free Century-Old Czech Film Accompanied by New, Live Music Mar. 14 at 3

A new restoration of a 1926 Czech film entitled "A May Tale" will have a free screening Sat., Mar. 14, at 3 p.m. at the Louis Stokes Wing of the downtown Cleveland Public Library. Offered by the , the event will include live, newly-composed music. WCLV's Jacqueline Gerber talked with composer Alexander Fedoriouk, who plays cimbalom with the Harmonia Ensemble, which will perform during the film. A reception follows.
