A deep ocean of secrets
After 114 years, it's finally safe for an immersive Titanic experience. The Great Lakes Science Center presents 鈥.鈥 Visitors can see life-size reconstructions of the doomed luxury liner鈥檚 most famous rooms, such as the first-class lounge, Turkish baths and wheelhouse. There are also 200 artifacts on view, and a virtual reality tour that ends with the ship鈥檚 final moments.

Akron's own Theron Brown provides the aural accompaniment for the new multisensory exhibit, "." Pittsburgh-based artist Ian Brill used custom LED fixtures, mirrored walls and music to create "a continuous visual dialogue." Created in collaboration with the Akron Soul Train, the exhibit opens Saturday from 5-7 p.m. at Outside the Box at TrueNorth Akron.
Falls float
This weekend, take to the Cuyahoga in Cuyahoga Falls. On Saturday, Sunday and Monday, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Float the River hosts paddlers and inner-tubers on the river that gave the city its name. for the inaugural weekend as well as the rest of the summer.
Prom fur dogs
It鈥檚 the tail end of prom season, but on Saturday you can paws for the Doggy Prom at Taps & Tails in Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood. Memorial Day weekend
Cities throughout Northeast Ohio host Memorial Day events this weekend, providing a time to remember U.S. military personnel who died while serving. It can also be a time for building community with parades and festivals. In Chagrin Falls, unofficially kicks off summer with a carnival and live music.
