After threats of violence to the church for its upcoming drag events, including an arson attempt last weekend, the Chester Township police chief recommended the church cancel the events.

A flaming glass bottle was thrown at Community Church of Chesterland, believed to be in protest of upcoming drag events at the church and a local restaurant.
