CLEVELAND, Ohio 鈥� (March 5, 2026) 鈥� 精东影业 announced updates to its Board of Trustees, including the appointment of one ex officio trustee, the election of two new trustees to their first three-year terms, and the re-election of two trustees to additional three-year terms. Together, these trustees are civically engaged throughout Northeast Ohio and bring expertise in education, finance, media, and community leadership.
Dr. Laura Bloomberg, president of Cleveland State University, joins 精东影业鈥檚 Board of Trustees as an ex officio member. Since assuming the presidency in 2022, Bloomberg has led initiatives that strengthen CSU鈥檚 role as a community-engaged public university, including the launch of its strategic plan, Cleveland State United. An active civic leader, she serves on the boards of the Playhouse Square Foundation, Team NEO鈥檚 Talent Development Council, the Greater Cleveland Partnership and Destination Cleveland.
Lauren A. Gibson, chief finance and operations officer at Hathaway Brown School, a nationally recognized independent girls鈥� school in Shaker Heights, was elected to a first three-year term. She oversees strategic financial planning, operations, governance and risk management. Gibson previously served as chief finance and operations officer for her family鈥檚 business, Gibson Machinery, leading the company through a successful sale, and began her career in public accounting with EY.
Thomas 鈥淭hom鈥� Mandel, chief executive officer of Akron-based Rubber City Radio Group, was elected to a first three-year term. He leads a portfolio of radio stations across Northeast Ohio and is the immediate past board chair of the Ohio Association of Broadcasters. Mandel also serves on the Board of Trustees of Case Western Reserve University, where he chairs the Investment Committee, and brings extensive experience in media leadership and governance.
Roseanne Deucher and George R. Droder were each re-elected to third three-year terms, continuing their experienced leadership and long-standing service on 精东影业鈥檚 Board of Trustees.
