Elevating women
The Cleveland Women鈥檚 Orchestra dates back to the 1930s, created by a Cleveland Orchestra musician to provide opportunities for women to perform when there were few. at Severance Music Center on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. In the spirit of advancing young women in music, the orchestra will premiere 鈥淏lood Moon,鈥� a composition by Akron University student Sarah Hegenderfer.
