The Middletown, Ohio, native joined The Enquirerfor a 13-week summer internship after graduating from Ohio University in 1975, and parlayed it into a nearly 40-year career as a reporter (including covering the Beverly Hills fire aftermath), editor and TV columnist. 鈥淭VKiese鈥漴egularly traveled to Los Angeles and other cities to preview shows, interview stars and watch tapings of 鈥淓R,鈥� 鈥淪einfeld,鈥� Jon Stewart鈥檚 鈥淭he Daily Show鈥� and David Letterman鈥檚 鈥淟ate Show.鈥� He鈥檚 also covered filming of George Clooney鈥檚 鈥淭he Ides of March,鈥滳ateBlanchett鈥檚鈥淐arol鈥� and DonCheadle鈥檚鈥淢iles Ahead.鈥�

Locations in Price Hill and other parts of Greater Cincinnati were scouted in late July for the feature film "based on a true story of a photojournalist, Danny Lyon, who followed a Chicago motorcycle club in the mid-to-late 1960s and early 1970s and then published a book of his photos and interviews," according to a letter dated Monday July 25 left at homes by a location scout. -
