Earlier this month, the Cleveland Metropolitan School District announced that it was cutting more about 400 full-time employees. The cuts are made up of 150 teachers, with the others being administrators, paraprofessionals and nurses.
Along with the staffing cuts - the district will close 29 buildings 鈥 hoping to save CMSD around $150 million over the next three years. Last Tuesday, the Board approved some of those cuts amid protests inside and outside of the board room.
Monday on the "Sound of Ideas," we'll discuss this evolving story with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District's CEO, Dr. Warren Morgan.
